USWNT legend Megan Rapinoe and Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis were spotted courtside for UConn's loss to Notre Dame in a NCAA women's basketball game.

During Notre Dame's clash against UConn, actor Sudeikis was seen conversing with United States World Cup winner Rapinoe, with wife and former basketball player Sue Bird right next to them. When they were pictured, UConn were up 30 points to 18 but eventually lost 82-67 on Saturday night in the college grudge match.

Rapinoe, who announced her retirement from football last year, was seen as a titular figure in pushing for gay rights, social justice and equal pay in the sport. And Sudeikis' Lasso character was a fictional coach that inspired others to do better. By attending matches such as these, the duo are, arguably, helping getting more eyeballs on women's basketball.
