I only had to approve their request,” saidFernando.Tissera, who led Sri Lanka in the inaugural World Cup in 1975, will workalongside Don Anurasiri, Roger Wijesuriya and Mahesh Goonatillake, allformer Test cricketers.The committee was appointed only four months ago after a selection disputewith the team management and players in the second Test against Zimbabwe inKandy.
